This is a new and improved North Star optical combiner set from an all-new injection mold. It’s thinner, lighter, and has mounting tabs that open up myriad possibilities for new North Star headset mechanical designs. Our latest, based on standoffs, is just one example of how it can be incorporated into a function headset. With minor modification of older North Star optics brackets, it’s compatible with older designs as well.

• Material: Polycarbonate substrate with proprietary coating stack and oleophobic (anti-fingerprint) coating on outer surfaces.
• Reflectivity characteristics: 50/50 reflection / transmission, with broadband antireflective coating stack on the outer surface to effectively minimize ghosting / secondary reflection across the full range of visible wavelengths.
• Weight: ~20g ±1g
